I am originally from Chicago, IL, and spent a good part of my youth traipsing around the city on the elevated train, availing myself of all that a huge city has to offer. I explored world class museums, and was exposed to incredible art and science at a very early age. My favorite thing to do, besides navigating the El, was to learn about the re-constructed dinosaur fossils and play in the submarine located in the city's Science and Natural History Museum.
Fast forward a thousand years and my love for everything science and learning has only grown. I am majoring in Conservation Biology (currently, but I am mulling a change to Epidemiology) here @ Phoenix College, and I am in my final semester as an S-STEM intern. This semester, I am focused primarily on collecting all of my accumulated project data into a (hopefully) publishable paper summarizing my work here in the Bio lab. Then, I am off to ASU to finish my bachelor's and then (also hopefully) gain employment in my chosen field.
See you in the lab!
